The Ouzoud waterfalls (110 m high) are located near the village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech. Ouzoud means “the act of grinding grain” in Berber. The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use.
Through Day trip to Ouzoud waterfall, you will be able to discover the highest waterfalls of Morocco, go on a trek around the falls, ride the local boats to cross the river, or trek for 2 hours to get to the source of Ouzoud cascades. Thus, our Day trip to Cascades d’ouzoud will end and in the afternoon, we come back to Marrakech.
